74 year old Caucasian male originally from Springfield, MA. PhD Education (Exercise Physiology) and MD Anesthesiologist. Retired in 2021. Always very active, reads extensively and learns something new every day. Currently lives in southern Arizona. Straight forward approach to life, “you usually get what you deserve”, a no BS attitude that has gotten him into trouble occasionally. Presents his life for ?fun
Living life to the fullest- according to him.
Usually became obsessed with tasks in order to accomplish them to the best of his ability. Persevered in Education through earning PhD in Education and later MD. Traveled enough internationally and across the United States. Ran 10 marathons and biked several century tours. Continues to weight train for muscle strength and tone. Struggles at golf because it’s the antithesis of his sports philosophy of out-hustling and out-training the competition. Married for > 45 years to the best person he ever met.
Loved transesophageaL echocardiography (TEE) because it assisted in caring for patients and answering one of the most important questions intraoperatively: “Is the blood pressure low because of low volume or diminished heart function?”

What I love doing
Retirement has been fantastic. There are so many tasks I wish to complete but, on the other hand, I do not really need to finish any. My life has been great and regrets have been few. Now is the fun time!
